Well, technically, it's not my FIRST DAY, per se, but it's much like that. After having been away from work for over a month, I'm returning to my job for the first time today, and it couldn't have come at a worse time. *downcast face* I spoke with one of my old mentors at Banana, and he informed me that one of the company head honchos will be visiting the store today, which will keep us busy. I'm not sure if I'm *sad face* over the news, given that it'll keep me busy.

Pros: It'll keep me busy.

Cons: It'll keep me busy.

I'd rather have an active day at work than a slow, lazy one, but I'm not sure what my energy levels will be like today.

Also, ever since earlier yesterday morning, my mind has been swimming with thoughts, but I won't talk about it right here.

Other stuff has happened, too. Tuesday I went drinking with two korean girls I met on Craigslist. Had a great time, but they haven't called me back since then, which is kinda *sad face*. They were pretty hot for their age. (they were older women)

My ex called my house, as well. Said she 'remembered my number', which is either a horseshit excuse or a backhanded comment, but given what else she said it's likely the former. She also said that she wanted to 'apologize to me'. I ended up rushing her off the phone, stating that I was leaving the house (true) and that I'm not ready for this conversation (true), and that I'll unblock her from MSN (half-true). I haven't unblocked her yet, hence 'half-true', and I'm not sure when I will. Presumably when I'm ready.
